Horse’s Axe Monthly Membership Terms and Conditions<\/b><\/p>\n

Welcome to Horse’s Axe! By enrolling in our Monthly Membership Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fair experience for all members.<\/p>\n

1. Membership Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n

    1. Age Requirement for Membership:<\/b>\u00a0Candidate must be at least 18 years old to own a membership. Participants aged 16 and above can be added as an additional family member using the family plan add on (see section 3).<\/li>\n
    2. Age Requirement for Axe Throwing:<\/b>\u00a0Ages 7 and under can use a foam axe. This is non-negotiable. With parent permission, ages 8-12 can be tested by a Horse’s Axe Coach (Axepert). If the coach determines it is not safe, the child can throw a foam axe. The decision of the Coach is non-negotiable. We ask for the parents’ support in our decision. We want to keep your child safe. Ages 13 – 17 need an adult in the party. All participants ages 17 and under must have a liability waiver filled out by their parent or legal guardian.<\/li>\n
    3. ID Requirement:<\/b>\u00a0The person with the membership must be present with their ID for the reservation.<\/li>\n
    4. Non-Transferable:<\/b>\u00a0Memberships are non-transferable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2. Membership Benefits<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Access:<\/b>\u00a0Members enjoy unlimited access to axe throwing lanes or Billiard tables during operating hours, subject to lane\/table availability. See Section 5 for Reservation and Usage rules.<\/li>\n
        2. Exclusive Events:<\/b>\u00a0Members may receive invitations to exclusive events and promotions.<\/li>\n
        3. Add-ons:<\/b>\u00a0Members can purchase add-ons to customize their account to suit their needs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          3. Add-ons<\/b><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Family Member Add-On:<\/b>\u00a0Adding family members to the plan can be done using a monthly Add-on. Family members are immediate family only which includes Spouse\/Significant other and children. Extended family and friends cannot be added to a plan. Up to four family members can be added to a single membership plan.\n
                \n
              1. Plan Benefits:\u00a0<\/b>Family members share in the benefits of the plan. Adding a family member does not increase the benefits. Please see section 5 for reservation rules.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              2. ID Requirement<\/b>: The person with the membership or added family member must be present for the reservation and show their ID to get the axe throwing lane.<\/li>\n
              3. VIP Add-On:<\/b>\u00a0For an additional fee, Axe Throwing Members and Billiards Meembers can becoming “Axe Throwing VIP Members” and\/or “Billiards VIP Members”. VIP Members enjoy both Axe Throwing and Billiard benefits.<\/li>\n
              4. Non-Transferable:<\/b>\u00a0Memberships are non-transferable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                4. Membership Fees and Payment<\/b><\/p>\n

                  1. Monthly Dues:<\/b> Membership dues plus tax are paid monthly, payable in advance.<\/li>\n
                  2. \u00a0Payment Method:<\/b>\u00a0Payments are processed via automatic debit or credit card transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      1. Late Payments:<\/b>\u00a0A late fee of $15 will be applied to any payments not received within 5 days of the due date.<\/li>\n
                      2. <\/a>Non-Transferable:<\/b>\u00a0Memberships are non-transferable.<\/li>\n
                      3. ID Requirement:<\/b>\u00a0The person with the membership must be present for the reservation and show their ID to get the axe throwing lane.<\/li>\n
                      4. Customizable Plans:<\/b>\u00a0Plans are built with a base membership price plus add-ons, allowing customers to customize their membership to suit their needs.<\/li>\n
                      5. <\/a>Add\/Remove Items:<\/b>\u00a0Customers will have the ability to add items to their membership in their membership portal. Removing items from the membership must be done in person at a Horse’s Axe location.<\/li>\n
                      6. Online Portal:<\/b>\u00a0Members will set up an online portal when signing up for the membership. In the portal, members can make reservations, purchase add-ons, and manage their personal information.<\/li>\n
                      7. Data Protection:<\/b>\u00a0Customer information will not be shared with other companies. Credit and debit card information is not stored by Horse’s Axe but is securely stored by Stripe, an industry-standard payment processor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        5. Reservations and Usage<\/b><\/p>\n

                            \n
                          1. Reservations:<\/b>\u00a0A reservation is 1 lane for 1 hour for Axe Throwing or 1 Table for 1 hour for Billiards.<\/li>\n
                          2. Reservations are Required:\u00a0<\/b>Members must make a\u00a0<\/b>reservation to play. Reservations must be made using your online portal. If a member walks-in to throw without a reservation they will be asked to make a reservation through their online portal.<\/li>\n
                          3. Single Reservation Rule:<\/b>\u00a0One reservation is allowed at a time. Reservations must be made using your online portal. Once a reservation is undeway, a member can use their online portal to schedule another reservation.<\/li>\n
                          4. Multiple Visits<\/b>: A member can throw multiple times in a day when lanes are available. Book online in your portal for additional time after your initial reservation has started.<\/li>\n
                          5. Additional Axe Lanes or Billiard Tables at the same time as your reservation:<\/b>\u00a0If you would like your reservation to be larger than 1 Axe Lane\/Billiard Table for 1 hour, additional lanes\/tables and hours can be booked for 50% off per lane\/table, per hour.<\/li>\n
                          6. Reservations Priority:<\/b>\u00a0Reservations in the system are given priority over walk-ins. Walk-ins are first-come, first-serve after reservations are complete. Member reservations do not supersede regular reservations. Billard members are the only ones who can reserve a table. Non-members do not have the ability to book a Billiard table.<\/li>\n
                          7. Group Size:<\/b>\u00a0One Axe lane can score up to 6 people at a time. Bring your friends! Reserve additional lanes at 50% off per lane per hour.<\/li>\n
                          8. <\/a>ID Requirement:<\/b>\u00a0The person with the membership must be present for the reservation and show their ID to get the axe throwing lane. Memberships are non-transferable.<\/li>\n
                          9. No Call No Show:<\/b>\u00a0A no-call, no-show for a reservation will result in a $15 fee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            6. Facility Usage and Conduct<\/b><\/p>\n

                              1. Safety Rules:<\/b>\u00a0All members must adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing closed-toe shoes and following staff instructions.<\/li>\n
                              2. Prohibited Activities:<\/b>\u00a0Commercial activities, including personal training of other members, are prohibited unless authorized by The Horse’s Axe.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                7. Membership Cancellation<\/b><\/p>\n

                                  1. <\/a>Notice Requirement:<\/b>\u00a0Cancellations require 30 days’ notice and must be done in person at a Horse’s Axe location.<\/li>\n
                                  2. Account Modifications:<\/b>\u00a0Removing items (Add-ons) from the membership requires 30 days’ notice and must be done in person at a Horse’s Axe location.<\/li>\n
                                  3. Sign-Up Policy:<\/b>\u00a0Cancellations are not accepted on the day of sign-up.<\/li>\n
                                  4. Termination by The Horse’s Axe:<\/b>\u00a0We reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                    8. Liability Waiver<\/b><\/p>\n

                                      1. Assumption of Risk:<\/b>\u00a0Members acknowledge the inherent risks associated with axe throwing and agree to hold Horse’s Axe harmless from any claims of injury or damage.<\/li>\n
                                      2. Waiver Requirement:<\/b>\u00a0All members and their guests must sign a liability waiver before participating in any activities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                        9. Code of Conduct<\/b><\/p>\n

                                          1. Behavior:<\/b>\u00a0Members must conduct themselves respectfully towards staff and other patrons. Harassment, use of profane language, or disruptive behavior may result in membership termination.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                            10. Text Campaigns<\/b><\/p>\n

                                                \n
                                              1. Agreement:<\/b>\u00a0All members agree to participate in text campaigns for promotions, member only specials and updates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                                11. Amendments and Governing Law<\/b><\/p>\n

                                                  1. Changes to Terms:<\/b>\u00a0Horse’s Axe reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Members will be notified of any changes at least 30 days in advance.<\/li>\n
                                                  2. Jurisdiction:<\/b>\u00a0These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Texas. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts of Denton County, Texas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
